Inc. to Facilitate Strategic Planning
Jay Maxwell, Clerus Solutions’ President &
CEO, has helped IRP, Inc. develop strategic plans in
the past and has been asked again to help the
organization plan its future. Mr. Maxwell stated
“IRP, Inc. has made so much progress since it was
formed in the 1990’s and I’ve been privileged to be
a part of its strategic planning process over the
past several years. I’m very pleased that they’ve

AAMVA Taps
Clerus Solutions to Facilitate Federal CDL Task
Force
AAMVA has hired Clerus Solutions to facilitate the
USDOT CDL Task Force. Section 4135 of SAFETEA-LU
directed that the Secretary of Transportation
convene a task force to study and address current
impediments and foreseeable challenges to the
commercial driver’s license program’s effectiveness
and measures needed to realize the full safety
potential of the commercial driver’s license
program. Jay Maxwell, President & CEO of Clerus
Solutions, was hired to facilitate the meetings of
the task force. Jay stated “The CDL program has been
a huge success over the years and having spent a
considerable amount of my career implementing and
operating the information systems that support it, I
have a personal interest in its continued success. I
am very pleased that AAMVA has asked me to help
facilitate this very important dialogue.”

Selected by the University of Kentucky To Assist
with Real ID Planning and Implementation
Clerus Solutions has been selected in a competitive
bid process to assist the University of Kentucky and
the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet with their
analysis of the Real ID Act and its impact on
Kentucky as well as formulating strategies and
tactical plans for nationwide deployment of Real ID
with an emphasis on the role of birth and death
records. Jay Maxwell, President and CEO of Clerus
Solutions stated “Kentucky has taken a leadership
role with respect to the Real ID program and Clerus
